I started
running in 1984 when my kids
were little. Since then I've completed many marathons, ultras, bike tours, and triathlons. I am a 50 state marathon
chaser and I just celebrated my 25th Houston marathon. I plan to compete in my second Ironman in November.
I am married to Doug and work as an Admin Asst at ExxonMobil. I have two beautiful grandsons named Keagen & Kaden. | Leslie Dupuy I swam and ran
track in high school and continued with both sports through college and into adulthood. I began training for and running marathons
(slowly) in the early 90's and also joined the master's swim group at the Conroe Rec Center. I wanted a new challenge after
my 40th birthday so I bought a bike and added riding to the mix. I completed my first triathlon that year and was immediately
hooked. I have been competing in triathlon for 5 years now and am coached by Michelle LeBlanc with OutRival Racing. With 8 marathons, 4 ultra-marathons, 1 Ironman, and countless shorter
races under my belt, I'm still out there pounding the pavement every day and am eternally thankful that I continue to have
the ability to participate in this sport. |
